Entry Guidelines

•To be eligible for a cash prize all entries must be accompanied by a completed, signed entry form and check.
•Entry fee is $25 per film for the Open Division. There is no entry fee for the Youth Division.
•Youth Division entrants must be under 18 at the date of the deadline.
•Late entry fee is $30 per film for both categories.
•Late entries must reach the film committee on the fifth day by 4:30 p.m. after the deadline.
•Film length for Youth Division is between 5-26:30 minutes including titles and credits.
•Film length for Adult Division is between 10-26:30 minutes including titles and credits.
•Films that do not meet the time criteria will not be eligible for a cash prize.
•Only films in digital format on a DVD are accepted.
•VDFF will require a second DVD of your entry if the first is deemed damaged or unusable.
•Group entries must contain at least one individual name on the form and within the film credits.
•Filmmakers must be from or film content must be about, Western Pennsylvania, which is anywhere west of Harrisburg, PA.
•Only films selected by the festival committee will be screened.
•Judge’s/Committee’s decision is final.
•People’s Choice Award is final.
•DVDs are not returned.
•Email via www.vdff.org after mailing to confirm your entry.
•Submission of a film to the VDFF constitutes permission for public screening of that film.
